The reason for the website is I have enjoyed learning things about poser, and 3D Studio Max. In modeling and creation of characters for poser in other words boning the character plus making props. Doing this and at the same time I created some tutorials to help the community as well. I do not communicate with the poser community because of the situation that occurred which was really uncalled for, and this situation has occurred many times.
It comes down to copyright, under each situation. And I'm sure it will happen again. It basically comes down to this if you are going make stuff for poser and share it or sell it you can expect some so-called infringements upon your copyright.
However the problem is you have to prove it. And that can be a big problem. So therefore because of these copyright problems has been going on for years, I decided to just do my own thing. In share what I feel like sharing.
As for some credit for my work which I found is a waste of time. The people want to take the full credit for all the work involved. However they did not make the geometry, or bone, or make the templates, and textures, for the poser character, all they're doing is using your work to make a image. You can get upset and sell your work. Or you can just take it on the chin what you give away and keep what you don't want to give away.
In my situation I have some DAZ3D Characters that I replaced their head with my geometry because of the copyright possible infringement I will not be sharing this work with the poser community because I did not create the total package. And that way I guarantee that I am not infringing upon anyone's copyrighted material.
I do not wish to step on anyone's toes. My stuff is created totally by myself. Using a program called 3D Studio Max plus UV mapper, Poser, Adobe Photoshop, and a Canon camera, plus a scanner.
So what will you find here you wonder, tutorials that will help you if you model, not necessary to have 3D Studio Max however it is necessary to understand some poser fax. There are some tutorials that are rather old for 3Ds Max. Also some of my stuff for poser, it's not the best but nevertheless, I made it. And of course my gallery just like my geometry it's not the best, but I made it.
It may seem like I am complaining in one way yes, in another way no, I am trying to let you understand if you're going to model that you must beware of what you do in this community.
We wish you the best of luck.
