E-mail scams and Telephone scams.
Let's start off with telephone scams.
You receive a telephone call from someone you have no
idea who they are, however they sound like your friend your
neighbor next door or someone from your community. You do
not know this person or the supposedly charity they are
representing. I have received calls from supposedly
firefighters, or police, charities. Asking for money. I know
that these was scams. Why. When I received a telephone call
for firefighters they were trying to represent the forced
firefighters at a time there was many forest fires happening
in my state. These are federal employees. And have all the
finances required for their personal well-being.
You
have won a prize, however you must purchase something to
receive this prize. A scam. Do not fall for this little
trick, if it's a prize it should be free and there should be
no strings attached in any way shape or form. Otherwise it
falls in to the scam category.
E-mail scams.
The e-mail scams are
very similar to telephone scams you have won something for
nothing. You do not know this person or how they manage to
get your e-mail. There's several ways of getting your
e-mail. I will not go into these details. It's just a matter
of time that they get it no matter what precautions you
take. That is because they are persistent in gathering
e-mail addresses for a number of reasons the main one is
money. Yours or someone else's by sharing your e-mail
address. By selling it to advertisers or others that try
scanning you. By offering you something that is financial,
or a prize. Every one of the situations require immediate
response. And everything is also asked to be kept totally
private. What does this sound like, if everything was on the
up, nothing should be required from you. It tests out to be
a scam.
Now I will show
you some scams I received by e-mail below.

When you
purchase something on the web and it usually
requires a e-mail for verification of your
purchase. Inside these e-mails they
automatically return a e-mail very rapidly for
verification. However this scam artist has done
the same thing in order to verify your e-mail
address. For future scams.
The other thing that tells me this is a scam.
Is the e-mail address, @yahoo.com.cn this is not
yahoo. It has an extra extension on the e-mail
account as shown, "cu" this tells me a scam as
well.
